Nu rullar en ny ambulans i Stockholms län för patienter med kraftig övervikt. Ambulansen klarar upp till 400 kilo.

Sedan den 1 september ingår den bariatriska ambulansen i Region Stockholms fordonsflotta.

En vanlig ambulans kan transportera patienter upp till 220 kilo, men den nya klarar 400 kilos vikt.

– Den har en baköverlift och en vinsch inmonterad och en speciell bår som är anpassad för bariatriska personer, säger Agne Pålsson som är ambulanssjukvårdare.
