I Vetlanda upplevs elektronik vara bra, men inget slår en hederlig gammal bilkarta när man kör ambulans och ska hitta till svårfunna ställen.

På höglandet i Småland har därför ambulanspersonalen nu fått direktiv att de ska köra efter kartan i första hand. Navigatorer med GPS är bara ett hjälpmedel. Chefen för ambulanserna klargör detta i ett brev till en kommundelspolitiker i Vetlanda som undrat vad som gjorts apropå ambulanser som hamnat på villovägar, uppger P 4 Jönköping.
